Ø  General description

 

Capsicum and Garlic combination is a stimulant or sudorific formula.  The herbs increase blood circulation and perspiration, reduce blood pressure, increase the production of digestive fluids and fight infections.

 

Another way to cleanse the body of toxins is by stimulating blood circulation, which increases blood flow to muscles and joints.  To accomplish this without straining the heart, we can use herbs that stimulate peripheral circulation.

 

Chinese herbalists would describe this herbal combination as a fire reducing formula.  It also reduces the wood element while enhancing the earth, water and metal elements.

 

Capsicum and Garlic combination has been used to treat colds, coughs, hypertension, asthma, skin eruptions, impotence, hemorrhoids, rheumatism, indigestion, worms, parasites, chronic chills and poor circulation.

 

This formula is commonly used in conjunction with the vitamin C family, vitamin A, hawthorn, ginger root, vitamin E, selenium germanium, echinacea, golden seal, Spirulina, zinc and manganese.

·        Imbalances indicating the use of this formula are commonly noted in the heart acupressure point located directly over the heart area of the chest.  Imbalances are often noted in the lymphatic rosary of both irises and in the 2:30 position of the left iris.  Use caution in cases of acute inflammation of the kidneys and inflammatory conditions of the gastrointestinal tract.

 

      Individual Components

 

 

---Garlic bulb--- contains aromatic compounds that lower blood pressure, heart rate and blood cholesterol while increasing coronary circulation.  These compounds also fight infections, reduce muscle spasms, increase immune response, promote sweating, increase the productions of digestive fluids and decrease the thickness while increasing the production of mucosal fluid.  Garlic has been used to treat colds, coughs, asthma, coronary heart disease, hypertension, atherosclerosis, infections, inflammatory skin conditions and hemorrhoids.

 

 ---Capsicum fruit--- contains aromatic resins that increase blood circulation, promote sweating, increase blood circulation, promote sweating, increase the production of digestive fluids and reduce muscle spasms.  It has been used to treat flatulence, colic, ulcers, rheumatic arthritis, cold hands and feet and dropsy.   

 

---Parsley herb--- contains aromatic compounds that decrease the thickness and increase the production of mucosal fluids, increase the production of digestive fluids and increase menstrual and urine flow.  It also contains bitter compounds that reduce muscle spasms and pains, reduce blood pressure and are antiseptic.  Parsley is an excellent herbal source of trace minerals especially the electrolyte minerals including sodium, excellent herbal source of vitamin A, vitamin C and chlorophyllins. Parsley has been used to treat urinary tract infections, amenorrhea, dysmenorrheal, dyspepsia, bronchitis, allergies, arthritis, asthma, flatulence, dysuria and nephritis.

Ø  Recipe: Per teapot full – 1 clove garlic, 1 teaspoon Parsley, ½ teaspoon Capsicum (Cayenne pepper). Steep 2 to 5 minute add honey.

 

Ø  Recipe: Per teapot full – 1 clove garlic, 1 teaspoon Parsley, ½ teaspoon Capsicum (Cayenne pepper), and add 1 teaspoon of any one of these herbs [hawthorn, ginger root, echinacea, golden seal leaf, Spirulina]. Steep 2 to 5 minute add honey.
